Shana Kabert, Psy.D.

Shana Kabert, Psy.D. is a NYS Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has been with the practice since 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at The Ohio State University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. While attending the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Kabert received training in cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and family therapies and in psychological assessment. She also completed her doctoral project on bullying in adolescence. Dr. Kabert has worked with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with mood disorders including Bipolar Disorder and Major Depression, anxiety disorders including Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD, behavioral issues, trichotillomania, suicidality, self-injury, eating disorders, and family issues including divorce. She enjoys her work and believes every patient can be helped by giving him/her a supportive environment and tools to cope with life’s challenges.
